Kerala Club California starts second session of Malayalam class on October 2, 2011.
After the hugely successful completion of Kerala Club California's first session of Conversational Malayalam class, we are happy to announce the next session of Malayalam classes in the Bay Area.
[Important Note: First class for both levels will be on Sunday, October 2nd. All subsequent classes will be held on Saturdays.]
There will be two levels of classes offered:
Level 1 is intended to introduce them to Malayalam, which is the official language of the State of Kerala in India. The goal of the 12 week program is to introduce the letters and commonly used words to the kids. The program, with the help of multimedia and a carefully created lesson plan, would introduce the language through making the student familiar with letters, commonly used words, simple stories and songs.
Level 2 is for children between the ages of 8 to 14. It is intended to build up on Level 1 and encourages the use of the language, by speaking, reading and writing.
