Kerala Club California starts their very first Malayalam class on June 18, 2011!

Kerala Club California is excited to share with you our next big endeavor - Conversational Malayalam classes for children. We have heard from so many people in our community requesting this, and it is a dream-come-true for us to have this class offered during Summer 2011.

The Malayalam Language Program, organized in association with the India Community Center, is for kids between the ages of 6 to 12. The goal of the 12 week program, conducted on Saturdays for an hour, is to introduce the letters and commonly used words to the kids. The program, with the help of multimedia and a carefully created lesson plan, would use simple songs and stories and plenty of writing and reading exercises to help kids begin reading, writing and speaking in Malayalam.
